Privacy
What Shroomr stores, why, and how to have it deleted.
Last updated 21 August 2026.
In short
Shroomr collects as little as it can get away with. There's no advertising network, no cross-site tracking, and nothing gets sold to anyone.
Your email address
If you ask us to email your shopping list, we store the address, the answers you gave the wizard and the products it recommended. That is used for one thing: sending you that list and the matching guide.
You aren't subscribed to anything. We don't use the address for marketing and we don't share it. Ask us to delete it and we will; see the contact address below.
Analytics
We measure which pages get read and where people leave the guided flow, using PostHog on EU servers. It is configured without cookies and without persistent identifiers, so it cannot follow you between visits or across other websites.
Rate limiting
To stop the email form being abused we count submissions per visitor. Your IP address is hashed with a secret before it is stored, so what is kept cannot be turned back into an address.
Affiliate links
Product links point to retailers (mostly Amazon today) and carry an affiliate tag. If you buy something, the retailer pays us a commission. They know you arrived from here, and their own privacy policy applies once you land there.
Where the data lives
In Supabase (EU region) and Vercel. Both act as processors on our behalf.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Email us and we will action it — erasure is a single click on our side.
